Chionodoxa sardensis, otherwise known as Scilla sardensis, is noted for its exquisite blossoms. This bulb-forming flowering plant displays many charming, star-shaped blooms atop its stem. The main petals of this flower are a deep blue, with an inner circle of white. Its inner petals are slightly raised, creating an appealing, white dome in the centre.

Chionodoxa sardensis is quite versatile, excelling in full sun to partial shade. It prefers a well-draining soil, such as a sandy loam, and can be used to effectively naturalise an area.
